🗂️ Product Groups (Categories)

🧭 Overview

The Groups section (or categories) allows you to organize and structure products within the system.

Product groups are essential for:

  • 🖨️ routing orders to printers

  • 🔎 product filtering

  • 🧩 structuring orders in the POS application, online ordering site, and combo menus

Groups can be created, edited, and deleted at any time.

    • When enabled, the order is printed on all selected printers

⚠️

Printers must be created in advance in the Printers section.

⏰ Happy Hour Scheduling

The Happy Hour feature allows you to control group visibility based on time rules:

  • Show or hide a group based on:

    • 📅 days of the week

    • ⏱️ time slots

  • Very useful for:

    • lunch menus

    • temporary promotions

    • time-specific menus

📌 Example

Display a group only on weekdays from 12:00 to 14:00.

🔞 Age Verification Popup

  • Enable popup

    • 18+ or custom popup

    • Mainly used for alcohol sales

    • Verifies the customer’s age on the online ordering site

🔁 Enabling Multiple-Choice Options

Step 1 — Group Configuration

  1. Open the relevant product group

  2. In the fields:

    • Max free in subgroup

    • Max paid in subgroup

Choose one of the following options:

  • Single – only one choice allowed

  • Custom – define a maximum number

  • Unlimited – unlimited choices

Step 2 — Product Configuration

Then, open the product using this subgroup and enable the multiple-selection option.

🥙 Practical Example (Snack Bar)

For a dürüm:

  • Vegetables are defined as free options

  • Multiple choice is enabled

  • The customer can select several vegetables

This logic can be repeated for:

  • sauces

  • supplements

  • extras
