🧭 Overview

The Products section allows you to create and manage individual items available in the Android application for ordering.

Each product must be assigned to a product group in order to be:

  • Visible in the application

  • Selectable when taking orders

Products are the core of your menu. Their configuration directly impacts:

  • Order processing

  • Product availability

  • Pricing

  • Ticket printing

Creating a Product

When creating a product, the following fields are available:

🏷️ General Information

Product Name

  • Name displayed in the application and administration panel

Product Group

  • Group to which the product is assigned

  • Determines visibility, printing settings, and rules inherited from the group

💰 Price & VAT

Dine-in Price = Entry Price

Takeaway Price = Exit Price

  • Define different prices depending on the order type

Dine-in VAT = Entry VAT

Takeaway VAT = Exit VAT

  • VAT rate applied according to the context

🎨 Appearance & Identification

Image

  • Product image

  • Used on the online ordering website and kiosks

Color

  • Color displayed in the application to make the menu easier to read

Barcode

  • Assign a barcode to a product

  • Compatible with barcode scanners to avoid manual input

  • Scanning automatically links the barcode to the selected product

⚙️ Advanced Settings

📦 Stock & Availability

Stock

  • Optional

  • If enabled, stock is automatically reduced with each order

Hide Product

  • Hides the product from the application, website, and kiosk

  • Without deleting the product or losing sales statistics

⏱️ Special Pricing

Timed Product

  • Starts a timer when ordered

  • The total is calculated based on a per-minute price when the timer is stopped

Dynamic Price

  • Allows the price to be entered manually during ordering

Price by Weight

  • The price is calculated according to the product's weight

Allow Decimal Units

  • Allows fractional quantities (e.g., 0.5 kg)

🎯 Promotions & Organization

Fixed Promotion (%)

  • Used to apply a fixed discount to one or more products in the menu (staff products, for example)

Order

  • Defines the product's position within its group list

External Reference

  • Links the product to an item from an external platform

Purchase Price

  • Internal purchase cost of the product (useful for margin calculations)

📝 Content & Media

Description

  • Visible on the online ordering website and kiosks

Multilingual Description

  • Up to three different languages

Additional Images

  • Add multiple images to enrich the product presentation

Tags

  • Allows filtering and organizing products in the back office

🧩 Product Options

Options allow you to create composite products (menus, add-ons, customizations).

Icon

  • A small icon displayed next to the product to indicate characteristics such as halal, vegan, etc.

Parent Product for Online Ordering

  • This product is a child of the selected product and will appear as an option on the online platform

Free and Paid Options

You can offer:

  • Free options

  • Paid options

Multiple choices can be defined for the same product.

The order of options is important.

👉 Example: the dessert should appear after the burger.

💡 Best Practices

  • Use (+) for extras

  • Use (–) for ingredient removals

  • Use clear names, even if they are long

🔁 Multiple Choice

Enable multiple selections for:

  • Free options

  • Paid options

The selection limit depends on the settings defined in the product group.

First, go to the product group that you want to use as a sub-option (add-ons) and edit it.

Go to "Max Paid Subgroup" if it is a paid option (such as add-ons), or select "Max Free Subgroup" if it is a free option.

  • Single = One selection

  • Unlimited = Unlimited selections

  • Custom = Custom number of selections

✏️ Custom Option Names

Custom Product Description

Allows you to rename a group used as an option.

The custom name replaces the default group name in the customer interface.
