π₯ Users β Access Management
π§ Overview
The Users page allows you to manage staff accounts and control access to:
the administration panel
the Android POS application
Each user is assigned specific rights based on their role and granted capabilities.
π Default Administrator Account
By default, an Administrator account is created for each establishment.
This account:
has full system privileges
provides complete access to the administration panel
can log in to the Android POS app if a PIN code is set
is unique per establishment

The Administrator account is essential for initial setup and overall system management.
β Creating a User
When creating a new user, only the following fields are required:
Username
Password
PIN code
User type

Advanced settings (capabilities, printers, terminals, etc.) are not required at creation and can be configured after the user is created.
π€ User Types
Four user types are available:
π οΈ Administrator
Full access to all features
Only one administrator per establishment
Access to the administration panel
Access to the Android POS if a PIN code is assigned
π½οΈ Server
Represents a standard employee (e.g. waiter)
Logs in to the Android POS app using a PIN code
Uses an existing terminal (Register or Main)
π Register
Terminal account assigned to a tablet
Servers log in using their personal PIN
Multiple registers can be created per establishment
π§ Main
Single central terminal per establishment
Manages:
print distribution
communication with printers
Recommended for single-terminal setups

Use Main for a simple one-terminal installation
Use Main + Register for multi-terminal configurations

Once a user is created, additional options become available in the edit view.

Payment terminal
Assign a card payment terminal
Terminal IP address
Define the IP address of the assigned terminal
Terminal ID
Required for certain terminal types
User printer
Available for Main or Register users
Enables printing of receipts and orders
Capabilities
Fine-grained access control via a dropdown menu

These settings are not available during creation, only after the user has been saved.

Each user can be assigned specific capabilities, allowing precise control over system access.
Capabilities are grouped by category:

Control access to the administration panel and system configuration.
Admin login
Allows a Server-type user to access the admin panel

This option is mandatory to grant admin access to non-administrator users.
