πŸ‘₯ Users β€” Access Management

🧭 Overview

The Users page allows you to manage staff accounts and control access to:

  • the administration panel

  • the Android POS application

Each user is assigned specific rights based on their role and granted capabilities.

πŸ” Default Administrator Account

By default, an Administrator account is created for each establishment.

This account:

  • has full system privileges

  • provides complete access to the administration panel

  • can log in to the Android POS app if a PIN code is set

  • is unique per establishment

πŸ’‘

The Administrator account is essential for initial setup and overall system management.

βž• Creating a User

When creating a new user, only the following fields are required:

  • Username

  • Password

  • PIN code

  • User type

πŸ’‘

Advanced settings (capabilities, printers, terminals, etc.) are not required at creation and can be configured after the user is created.

  • Logs in to the Android POS app using a PIN code

  • Uses an existing terminal (Register or Main)

πŸ“Ÿ Register

  • Terminal account assigned to a tablet

  • Servers log in using their personal PIN

  • Multiple registers can be created per establishment

🧠 Main

  • Single central terminal per establishment

  • Manages:

    • print distribution

    • communication with printers

  • Recommended for single-terminal setups

πŸ’‘

  • Use Main for a simple one-terminal installation

  • Use Main + Register for multi-terminal configurations
