Common Causes & Checks
1. Network Connectivity Issue (Most Common Cause)
Payment devices must be on the same network as the POS tablet.
This applies to:
Card terminals
Cash machines
Check the following:
Verify the Wi-Fi network of the POS tablet
Ensure the card terminal or cash machine is connected to the same network
If the device uses Ethernet, verify the cable is properly connected
Ensure the payment device has an active network connection
If the tablet and payment device are on different networks, payment requests cannot be sent.
2. Payment Device Powered Off or Disconnected
Ensure the card terminal or cash machine is powered on
Check that the device is not in standby or sleep mode
Verify all power and network cables are connected
After Fixing the Issue
Retry the payment
The payment request should be sent immediately
Restart the payment device if necessary

Network mismatches are the most common cause of payment issues
Payment failures do not cancel or remove the order
If needed, an alternative payment method can be used temporarily
